Cathy recently retired from teaching elementary school and has always enjoyed fitness and good health. She earned her 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do as an adult. Cathy has been involved in many ‘grassroots’ fitness programs as a volunteer, participant and leader. These programs included several after-school programs for elementary and middle school students, and teachers promoting good physical fitness, nutrition, and a healthy self-esteem. Cathy has also led several adult groups in helping to achieve their fitness goals.
She found her passion in CrossFit a few years ago and earned her CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate in July 2018. Cathy’s goals are to continue to encourage adults (and children), through CrossFit, to become more aware of their physical possibilities, help them with nutrition, and constantly remind them that their talents are limitless.
